The Opus Artis Paris International Art and Design Competition
RULES
Article 2. Theme of the Work
This competition explores the relationship between sound and image through the visual interpretation of music. Taking classical music repertoire as the point of departure, the competition encourages participants to translate musical structures, rhythms, emotions, and tonal qualities into poster design language.
Participants are invited to explore the interaction between auditory perception and visual expression through both conceptual and experimental approaches. The aim of the competition is to foster cross-disciplinary creativity, linking the act of listening with contemporary poster design practice.
Each participant must create a poster design inspired by one of the following three designated classical music works.
Repertoire Works
• Claude Debussy – Clair de Lune
• Martin Kutnowski – Al Ver Mis Horas de Fiebre
• Sergei Prokofiev – Romeo and Juliet Suite: Montagues and Capulets
